Raw Food Recipes – Mango Slices with Wild Mountain Blackberry Sauce & garnished with lamb’s quarters
Raw Food Recipes
MANGO SLICES with
WILD MOUNTAIN BLACKBERRY SAUCE and
garnished with lamb’s quarters
INGREDIENTS:
~ Mangoes (as fresh and ripe as possible!)
~ Blackberries (freshly foraged wild mountain blackberries if you are so lucky as to live near some!)
OR
~ Berries of any kind (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, salmonberries, etc.)
~ Lamb’s quarters (aka lambsquarters), freshly foraged (or another fresh herb of your choice)
PREPARATION:
1) Peel & slice mangoes
2) Arrange on plate in the form of a Flower!
3) Place a handful of berries in the middle of the Flower
4) Take remaining berries and blend them in your Vita-Mix, or other high-powered blender, and blend them into a sauce
5) Drizzle berry sauce over mangoes
6) Garnish with freshly picked lamb’s quarters or another herb of your choice
7) ENJOY!! yum
